Talakona Waterfall - Location

Talakona is an improving tourism center that is being attracted by tourists lot which is situated near to Tirupati-Madanapalli Highway, in Sri Venkateswara National Park in Chittoor District of Andhra pradesh.

With a height of 270 feet, it is the tallest waterfall in Andhra Pradesh.

At a distance of 49 KM from Tirupati, 220 KM from Chennai, and 105 Km from Chittoor, Talakona Waterfalls are situated at a distance of 23 KM from Bakarapeta which is the nearest town.

About the place

The Talakona Waterfall offers an impressive 270 foot fall before the water pools at the bottom. The falls are located in the Sri Venkateswara National Park in the Chittoor District of Andhra Pradesh. The waterfall is also famous as the Lord Siddheswara Swami Temple is situated very close to it.

Talakona is a good place to visit for animal lovers.

The waterfalls are placed amidst dense forests surrounded by natural beauty and greenery. It is believed that the water of Talakona WaterFalls is enriched with healing powers.
