Vastralankara Seva will be performed on Fridays to Moolavarlu. Two persons will be allowed to participate in the seva. Grihastas will be allowed to participate in the procession inside the temple with a silk saree and milk vessel during the procession. After the procession the grihastas will be allowed to sit in front of the idol to participate in Abhisek and after conduct of Abhisek grihastas will be allowed for darshan.
Vastralankara Seva in Tirumala is also called Melchat Vastram Seva. Both the sevas are same. This is one of the costliest seva and also one of the most sought seva by the VIP. This seva will be participated mostly by VIPs and people who have high recommendation letters.
Lord Venkateswara is the giver of boons. That is why devotees flock to the Tirumala hills. He showers His grace upon everybody because he is “Sripathi”, Lord of Goddess of Wealth. Goddess Sri Devi resides in his chest. Her benevolent glance makes Lord Srinivasa fulfill all the Dharmic desires of the devotees. Lord Venkateswara is there to protect the devotees from all the obstacles. He is an embodiment of mercy and also magnanimity.
Online Booking
The Vastralankara Seva/ Melchat Vastram Seva is performed on Fridays in Tirumala as a weekly special seva. This seva is performed immediately after the completion of the Abhisheka Seva. In this seva, the devotees are given Silver vessels to carry around the temple reach the inner sanctum, and give back the vessels.
This procession is considered as the seva. After this procession, the devotees will allowed to till the first door of the temple and will be made to sit and view the Lord and harathi offered to him.

Ticket Cost
The cost of this seva is Rs. 12, 500/- for one ticket and two persons will be allowed per ticket for this seva.
Process of Vastralankara Seva
First, for this seva, Abhishekam is performed to the Moola Virat with Milk, Water, Camphor, Civet oil, Turmeric, Chandanam, and Kasturi. After abhishekam, the Lord will be dressed with Pattu Pitambaram and a namam will be decorated with Paccha Karpuram. This whole process is performed in Private.
After the abhishekam, the pilgrims who have booked for the Melchat vastram seva will be allowed to sit and watch the Harathi after the Steel vessel procession.
Prasadam for Vastralankara Seva
As a prasadam for this seva A dupatta, a blouse piece. 2 big laddus and 2 vadas, and the chandanam which is kept at the feet of the Lord will be provided to the devotees.
Annual Sevas
Apart from these sevas, some annual sevas are being performed to the Lord of Tirumala.

hills will evoke a magnificent feeling of attaining the divine kingdom.
