T.T. Devasthanam’s Garden

Alankara Priyo Vishnu

The Lord is decked with colourful fragrant flowers every day during Tomalaseva and other days of utsavams. Mostly flowers of different odours are used for the Lord.

The evening session every Thursday is known as ‘Poolangi’ day. On that day, the Lord will not be adorned with jewels. His Naamam will be reduced to a small breadth so that His beautiful eyes are seen in their full form.

The darshan the devoteesĀ get on this day is also called ‘Netra Darsanam’.

It is a belief that the eyes of the Lord will open on this day and He will see all the devotees on this day.

They are growing different kinds of flowers to decorate the Lord every day and also on special occasions.

Some donors will also send beautiful flowers to the Lord from various places. Not only the Lord but the whole temple is beautifully decorated with a variety of fruits and flowers on Festival days like Ugadi, Deepavali and Brahmotsavams.
