  • Bathe in the Swamy Pushkarini before having the darshan of Lord Venkateswara as per our tradition.
  • After bathing have a darshan of Sri Varaha Swamy as per our customs.
  • Wear clean clothes and chant ā€˜Om Namo Venkatesayaā€™ to have a pleasant darshan.
  • Concentrate on Sri Venkateswara Swamy inside the temple for blessings.
  • Bathe in sacred tirthams Akasa Ganga, Papavinasanam situated at Tirumala forĀ sanctity.
  • Respect and follow our ancient customs andĀ usages while at Tirumala as a Hindu.
  • Every pilgrim must respect and promote religious sentiments among co-pilgrims.
  • Observing absolute silence in the temple andĀ reciting ā€˜Govindaā€™ nama duringĀ darshan is the virtue of your previous births.
  • Deposit your offerings in Srivari Hundi only with devotion.

Suggestions by the Crime Police – BEWARE OF THIEVES

  • Tirumala is a Pilgrim (center) place. Devotees must note this.
  • Donā€™t get accommodation from unknown persons. Donā€™t be cheated by their false words. Contact T.T.D. Staff for accommodation.
  • Pilgrims are advised to keep their valuable jewelry and luggage safely with them. Donā€™t keep the valuable things in the room. Keep them in the Luggage counter and get the receipt.
  • Donā€™t keep your children and old age people to watch the luggage.
  • Be careful with the thieves that they may divert your attention by throwing coins, and rupee notes to steal your valuable things.
  • Donā€™t go away by keeping your cell phones while charging.
  • Be careful with your handbags, ornaments, etc. while you are traveling in the free bus at the time of getting in and coming out.
  • Donā€™t take the valuable ornaments with you while going to the bathroom. Valuable things must be kept with your relatives or in lockers.
  • Keep the Laddu Tokens, Bags, Purses, Jewellery, etc. very carefully while in the Q-line at Laddu Counters.
  • Keep your luggage safely with known persons only while taking a bath in Pushkarini.
  • Keep your valuable ornaments carefully while in Srivari temple, Silver Threshold, at Sannidhi, in Darsan Q-line, at the place of taking Theertham, at Hundi, etc. because of the heavy influx of pilgrims.
