Akhilandam or Garudakambam

Garudakambam, also called Akhilandam, is opposite to Srivari temple with high and big pillars. In the olden days, this was situated in the temple backside to the Garudalwar. That’s why it was called ‘Garudakambam’. Here coconuts and lamps were offered by the devotees.

Due to influx of the devotees, this was changed near Dwajasthambam and later to the outside of the temple. At this Garudakambam, devotees light oil lamps, break coconuts and offer camphor Harati after the darshan of Lord Venkateswara.

Devotees think that by this Kainkaryam, their pilgrimage is completed.
